SQL Datasource / Oracle paging issue

Using SmartGWT 2.5.2011-05-14-EVAL / Oracle 10g

I have an SQL Datasource with a fetch operation that generates an SQL with pagination (sql.oracle.supportsSQLLimit: true). Below is an example that shows a difference of 1 between the request and response endRow values. Actually are requested 75 rows but are returned 76. It looks to me that instead of “rownum <= 902” it should be generated “rownum < 902”.

Request:
“startRow”:826,
“endRow”:901,

Generated select:
SELECT *
FROM (SELECT /*+ FIRST_ROWS(75) /
a.
, rownum myrownum
FROM ( … select …) a
where rownum <= 902)
WHERE myrownum >= 827

Response with 76 records (counted):
startRow:826,
endRow:902,
totalRows:2692,
status:0,

That does look like one extra row is being fetched. You should see that the client automatically handles this and just incorporates the additional row into cache. Is this affecting you somehow?

It doesn’t affect me, I only observed while testing a similar paging based query.
I reported because I thought it might be good to have it fixed in the upcoming 2.5 stable release.
