SmartGWT Application Slow in clustered Enviorment

Hi,

I have application build in SmartGWT deployed in clustered enviorment
with Cache cleared it turn around time is 20 sec + for the first time.

when access via direct node (Cache cleared ) turn around time is 8 sec for first time.

please put up your view why it is slow in clustered enviroment.

The most likely explanation is that your clustered servers are somehow delivering ordinary static files (like .js files) very, very slowly. Use tools such as Firebug and Fiddler to troubleshoot this.

I used Fidder we came to know the problem is loading the Smart GWT Java script files
response time I checked in fidler is very high

I am trying to use Gzip compression for the static files but somehow it is not working out.
can you please advise the way to compress static content.
I am using JBOSS 5.1

Pro Edition and better automatically deliver the SmartClient libraries compressed, as well as setting proper HTTP headers for caching.
