Rendering XML Data

Hi,
I have CLOB column in a table which is a XML. I am getting this column through SQL data source. Can you please guide me here for the following points:

  1. I need to show this XML text in a text area with pretty print format.
  2. I also need to show the XML in the form of a tree.

If you declare the field as type “text”, the CLOB will automatically be delivered to the client as a String attribute of the Record, just like other “text” fields. From there, you could parse it using core GWT’s XML APIs, and build a Tree dynamically to pass to a TreeGrid.
