ListGrid from SQL data

hello all,

I have a little trouble with the "ListGrid. I use the LGPL version and I would fill a “ListGrid” with information from a database.

For now I know how to connect to the database and retrieve useful information (in ResultSet) but I can not put this information in the ListGrid.

I can not find information on the internet (forum, google, etc.), so I wonder if this is possible?

I’m sorry if the question seems stupid but I am researching for several days and I came to nothing.

PS: I am a beginner in Java, this is my first project in Java

Your best bet is probably to start with some of the conceptual documentation available here http://www.smartclient.com/docs/7.0rc2/a/b/c/go.html

In particular you want to look at client-server integration - this describes the basics of integrating SmartClient with server-side data.

The LGPL version of SmartClient does not include the Java server. This means you’d be doing what we call a “client side” integration - as described
here

For completeness you may also want to look at the server side data integration overview. The SmartClient server is only available with SmartClient Pro, Power or Enterprise editions but is extremely powerful, providing options for integrating directly with a SQL database without the need to write any server side code at all.
