isc.Authentication and super users

SmartClient Version: v13.1p_2026-10-08/AllModules Development Only (built 2026-10-08)

Hi, I just noticed an inconsistency in the docs, between isc.Auth.getRoles() and isc.Auth.setRoles(), the doc for getRoles() says:

while the doc for setRoles():

But both seems inconsistent with code behaviour:

isc.Authentication.setCurrentUser({userId:"aUser"});
isc.Authentication.setAvailableRoles(["foo", "bar"]);
isc.Authentication.setRoles(["foobar"]);
isc.Authentication.setSuperUser(true);
isc.Authentication.getRoles(); // prints ['foo', 'bar', 'foobar']

hi Claudio, thanks for the report - we’ve corrected a few inconsistencies in the Authentication doc - please re-check today’s builds, dated October 9.
