Excel 2007 has a sheet limit of 1,048,576 rows. What does the SmartGWT toolkit Excel export functionality do when this limit is exceeded by the number of requested rows?

Probably generate an invalid spreadsheet, but you could trap this with DMI logic that checks the number of returned rows after dsRequest.execute() is called.

Would it be possible for you to look at the source and confirm what will happen?

Not easily (we’re not sure what POI does in this case) - but the possibilities are bad spreadsheet or exception, so if you care about this error case you should definitely trap it with a DMI.
