Custom JS call from smartGWT

Hi,
My question is very simple : is it possible to call (if yes, how) a custom javascript function written outside the GWT context ?

for example, I wish to display hello when a button is clicked.

myGWTButton.addClickHandler(new ClickHandler() {
	@Override
	public void onClick(ClickEvent event) {
		// What should I write here to create a alert('hello') JS call ?
	}
});

PS: I know that SC.say() do this very well, but this is a dummy example to show what I wanna do :slight_smile:

Yes, this is called “JSNI” (JavaScript native interface) - take a look at the core GWT documentation on this, which is extensive.

Ok, thanks for that. It’s working perfectly.
