Can we use most of the features with smart rendering?

I’m used to Grid that when we enable “virtual scrolling”/“smart rendering” or whatever you name it, then you lost column locking, grouping, and others.

What are the features supported by Smartclient when using smart rendering with thousands of rows?

Basically all features are retained (frozen columns, inline editing, grouping, expanding rows, auto-sizing, inline components, declarative hiliting etc).

Grouping is a client-side operation and so by default is only enabled in the menu for up to 1000 rows. You can increase this limit (property is ListGrid.groupByMaxRecords) if you don’t mind loading more data, or you can use a TreeGrid to present a similar interface that provides load on demand.

Grid summing (ListGrid.showGridSummary) is likewise a client-side operation and so is limited to 10s of thousands of rows (browser-dependent) but you can provide a summaryRowDataSource to do calculations server-side instead.
