Best Practice RE: Anonymous Inner Types

Hi,

This is a general question regarding best practice and the infamous IE Script Running Slowing dialog.

Is it okay to use Anonymous Inner Types in smartgwt or is it better to have proper classes? We are getting the Script Running Slowly dialog in an area that has heavy use of Anonymous Inner Types. This may be completly unrelated and I’m looking into it but I thought I would ask if anyone knew if using anonymous types had an impact on the number of script statements executed. Specificaly around accessing final variables or variables owned by the hosting class.

Thanks,

Ben

We know of no performance issue of this kind and it’s very, very unlikely to be the problem.

Thanks for the quick reply
