Alignment of validation error icon

I have a form with two textfields side by side with LEFT title orientation like this:

Title1: [ ] Title2: [ ]

Whenever a validation problem occurs, the icon appears misaligned with both the title and the field, and it causes the form form to move down. I’ve been trying to align the thing with the formCell and formCellError styles, with no results.

Any ideas on how to properly align this icon?
